Dear Fellow Bowlers

I wish to thank the Northern Ireland Private Greens Bowling League for nominating me, and the member clubs of the Irish Bowling Association for accepting my nomination as President for the 2019 season. It is a great honour not only for me but for my club, Ards.

I shall endeavour, in carrying out my duties, to maintain the high standards set by my predecessors in this prestigious office.

I wish every success to those players selected to represent Ireland in the many international tournaments which will be played throughout 2019. Also, I would congratulate those who have qualified to represent Ireland at the BIBC Championships.

To all bowlers I wish good health to enjoy your bowls and the sportsmanship and friendship which is associated with it.
