It is with deep regret that we have to report the death of Honorary Member Jim Humphreys on 9^th March 2021. Jim was a former member of 13^th Old Boys and was President of the N. I. B. A in 2010 and an Honorary Member of the Association. Jim also held several Offices in the I B A, Assistant Secretary 1999-2000, Secretary 2001-2005 and President in 2008. Jim was elected President of the B. I .B. C in 2017 and proved to be an excellent ambassador for Irish bowls. He was in every sense of the word a ‘gentleman’ and will be sorely missed.
