This weekend saw the opportunity for our younger bowlers to represent their associations in the annual Junior Inter-Association series and hopefully catch the eye of the Irish selectors for the upcoming U25 International series to be held in Wales in September.

The first games on Friday night saw awful weather conditions and saw the games finishing with only between 12 and 14 ends being played when the greens finally succumbed to the heavy rain.

Saturday saw a marked improvement, with the remaining games played in mostly dry conditions.

The teams produced some excellent play, and at around 5 pm, the NIPBA emerged as undefeated winners of this year’s championship. Final table below. Congratulations to all the players and their support team.
