The IBA AGM was held yesterday afternoon and a well-attended meeting saw the changing of the guard with Robert Madden passing on the presidency of the IBA on to Stephen Moran.

Thanks to Robert Madden who was a credit to himself, his club and his association during the past year in office.

Yesterday was Roberts 103rd event he attended including visiting all  95 IBA affiliated clubs during his year of Presidency.

Stephen from the Whitehead club has a hard act to follow, however, he has all the experience and vast knowledge of the sport of bowls which will enable him to carry out all his duties.
