Dear Fellow Bowlers,
As your President for the forthcoming season, it is a privilege and an honour to be writing this message, which I hope finds you and your families safe and well.
As the Covid-19 pandemic still impacts on our everyday lives, we pay tribute to the commitment and dedication of our NHS staff. Hopefully, their efforts, combined with the continued success of the vaccination programme and a responsible attitude by all clubs, will allow us to experience a more normal and complete bowling season.
In this respect, can I wish all the kindred association committees well as they formulate their domestic calendars over the coming weeks and make their preparations for the new season. I look forward to working with a highly dedicated team of officers as we oversee matters at IBA level.
On the international front, I would like to congratulate those individuals who have been selected to represent Northern Ireland in the Commonwealth Games due to take place in late July and early August. Best wishes to all the players and their management teams for a successful campaign.
Best wishes to you all for a safe, enjoyable and successful bowling season.
