The weather took a part in this weekend’s Senior Inter-Association Championship in Dublin.

Yesterday’s two games were played in glorious sunshine. Unfortunately, today’s weather changed with a vengeance.

Both this morning’s games were affected by heavy rain necessitating both games to be interrupted.

The game at Crumlin, between the NIPGBL and the NIBA, eventually was finished. However, the Crumlin green was then closed for the remainder of the day. The game at CYM was interrupted for four hours before resuming.

The outstanding two games due to be played this afternoon will now have to be rearranged at a later date.
