British Isles Finals Day – Session 1

Ireland went into the first session of finals day of the British Isles at Northfield with involvement in 3 of the scheduled four finals. They emerged with two silver and one gold medal.

The gold came from the Belmont Rink of Nigel Beggs, Paul Daly, Ryan Cavan and Simon Martin, who recorded a 15-10 victory over Wales.

In the Men’s Junior Singles, a recently returned Adam McKeown fell at the final hurdle against Scotland, losing 21-8.

Finally, Kyle Blakely and Jack Moffett faced the experienced Jersey pair of Malcolm de Soussa and Ross Davis in the Men’s Pairs, losing 17-10. Ireland is involved in the final of the triples later today.
